Hymn to Bast
Homage to thee, O thou who art Bast when thou risest, and Sekhmet when thou settest.
Thou risest, thou risest, thou shinest, thou shinest, thou who are first of the Neteru.
Thou art the Goddess of heaven, thou art the Goddess of earth; thou art the creator of those who dwell in the heights and of those who dwell in the depths.
Thou art the Goddess One who didst bring into existence the beginning of time and space with thy Cosmic Orgasm.
Thou didst create the earth from dust and gas, thou didst fashion humans from the threads of Neith, thou didst make the watery abyss of sky, thou didst form Hapi (the NIle), thou didst create the watery abyss, and thou dost give life unto all that therein is.
Thous hast knit together the mountains, thou has made humanity and the beasts of the field to come into being, thou hast made the heavens and the earth.
Worshipped be thou whom Maat embraceth at morn and at eve, great Ra-Sekhmet-Bast.
Thou dost travel across the sky with heart swelling with joy; the Lake of Testes becometh contended thereat.
The serpent-fiend Nak hath fallen, and his two arms are cut off.
The Sektet boat receiveth fair winds, and the ab (heart) of the worshipper that is in the shrine thereof rejoiceth.
Thou are crwned princess of heaven, and thou art the One dowered wth al attributes wh cometh forth from the sky.
Ra-Sekhmet-Bast is the One whose word when uttered must come to pass.
O thou divine Youth, thou heir of everlastingness, thou self-begotten one, didst give thyself birth!
O thou One, thou mighty One of myriad forms and aspects, Queen of the world, Princess of PerBastis, lady of eternity and ruler of everlastingness, the company of the Neteru rejoice when thou risest and when thou sailest across the sky, O thou who art exalted in the Sektet boat.

Hymn to Ra
Homage to thee, O thou glorious being, thou who art dowered with all attributes, O Tem-Heru-khuti, when thou risest in the horizon of heaven, a cry of joy cometh forth to thee from the mouth of all peoples.
O thou beautiful being, thou dost renew thyself in thy season in the form of the Disk within thy mother Het Heret (Hathor); therefore in every place every heart swelleth with joy at thy rising for ever.
The regions of the North and South come to thee with homage, and send forth acclamations at thy rising in the horizon of heaven; thou illuminest the two lands with rays of turquoise light.
O Ra-Sekhmet-Bast, thou art Heru-khuti, the divine man-child, the heir of eternity, self-begotten and self-born, king of earth, prince of the Tuat, governor of the regions of Aukert; thou comest forth from the water, thou hast sprung from the Goddess Nun, who cherisheth thee and ordereth thy members.
O thou Neter of life, thou lord of love, all humanty live when thou shinest; thou art crowned king of the Neteru.
The Goddess Nwt doeth homage unto thee, and Maat embraceth thee at all times.
Thou who are in thy following sing unto thee with joy and bow down their foreheads to the earth when they meet thee, thou lord of heaven, thou lord of earth, thou king of Right nd Truth, thou lord of eternity, thou prince of everlastingness, thou sovereign of all the Neteru, thou Neter of life, thou creator of eternity, thou maker of heaven wherein thou art firmly established.
Hymn to Asar the Shepherd
Asar (Osiris) is my shepherd; I shall not want.
Asar showeth me the way to the green pastures of the Nfr Lands (Beautiful Lands or Heavens); Asar leadeth me beside the quiet waters of Nun and Hapi.
Asar restoreth my soul and raises up my body; Asar leadeth me in the paths of Maat (righteousness) for the name of Ra-Sekhmet-Bast.
Yea, though I walk through Tuat (the valley of the shadow of death), I will fear no evil: for Ra-Sekhmet-Bast (the Sun) and Asar-Joh-Bast (the Moon) art with me; the crook and the flail of Asar they comfort me.
Bast preparest a table of cakes and candies of the plant of Truth and bees honey before me in the presence of mine 72 enemies: Thoth anointest my head with the seven sacred oils; my basket is full of the plants of the earth; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and plenty and lovejoys shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the Per (house) of Amon-Ra-Asar-Sekhmet-Bast for ever and ever.
